help the tournament keep on time). Pool play games CAN end in a tie.
Note: Any inning that begins before time expires will be completed.
● Bracket Play: Games are 90 minutes, finish the inning. Games that are tied at the end of regulation will use the ITB rule until a winner is declared. – NO BATTING OUT OF ORDER IS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.
PROTESTS:
This is a non-protest event. Home plate umpire will settle any rule disagreements at the time they occur.
TOURNAMENT SEEDING/TIEBREAKER:
The following procedure will be used to determine the seedings after pool play: i. If three or more teams are tied with the same record in a division, head-to-head will not be used.
1. Most Wins
2. Head-to-Head Games unless 3 or more teams are tied with most number of wins.
3. Runs allowed
4. Runs differential
5. Coin Flip
A flip of a coin between the two teams shall determine the home team for each pool play game. The highest seeded team shall be the home team for bracket play games in single elimination brackets. If both teams are of equal seed (1st Place Pool A vs 1st Place Pool B) the home team will be decided by coin flip.
In case of a rain-shortened tournament, pool play games can be deemed official after 2 ½ innings of play (with home team winning) or 45 minutes of elapsed game time. This policy will only be used through pool play. In addition, if games are canceled due to weather, there may be an adjustment in application of the tie-breaking procedures.
EJECTIONS
Any coach or player that is ejected, must sit the remainder of the game it happened in as well as the following games.
Any fans ejected, must leave the park for the remainder of the day.
Teams are responsible for retrieving foul balls promptly. Time will not be stopped because balls were not retrieved.
